Climate and Environment
While our superior breeding lines, our cultural practices and the skill of our greenhouse personnel are essential, nature is our "chief grower". Clear mountain-stream water, ideal temperatures and gentle trade winds provide us with a growing environment in which chemicals and fertilizers are needed only in minimal amounts. This lowers our production costs while, at the same time, producing faster-growing and stronger orchids. It's not often that you orchid greenhouses where lizards, birds, frogs, butterflies, and other creatures happily co-exist with the orchids.
